Aesop was a master storyteller in ancient Greece who used humans and personified animals to teach valuable lessons about hard work, honesty, bravery, karma, and much more. This book retells, along with spectacular illustrations, thirteen important stories with lessons for all ages.
"My dad gave me an illustrated copy of Aesop's Fables when I was young. It was one of my favorite childhood books, and I always kept flipping it open and rereading it. The illustrations were beautiful and the lesson at the end of each story was deeply imprinted in me. I think most people are familiar with these lessons as they’re used in common every day conversation (slow and steady wins the race) but I don’t think people have a good reference for these stories anymore. Many of the old copies of these fables use outdated languages. My book provides an updated and fresh look at these stories. I want the readers whether it’s elementary school or middle school age, to remember the lessons. They are universal and timeless without being religious, or specific to any demographic. "
